counterproductive by ralamantis counterproductive by ralamantis
I started this ages ago just messing about with a new programme I got and originally it was green and I was going to try and base it around wind (the arrows being the changing wind directions) but I soon got bored of the colour and tried loads of different colour filters and this is my favourite of all the colour combinations that came out! I feel it doesnt look finish, but I really dont know what else I can add to it :(

Kinda random but shows imagination. It could be worse, I mean it could make you blind when you look at it, and it doesn't .. so it really is quite good when you think of it that way.

Nice. Pretty simple, but it works. The empty space at the left is a bit annoying, but like you said it's there for icons and stuff. And I think you could experiment with other colours, like blue, or b/w... (I especially like the last idea. ;) )

I actually think that it'd look best in black and white, which would make it even more simplistic.

That's very, VERY cool. I love the simplicity. What does it say?

something like "SADG SFHHERNHFD DFHOMDFH" I just randomly typed letters because I knew it would take me ages to type something with any meaning :D

Apart from the colours I think it's pretty good. It could use something on the left because at the moment it kind of seems like a background to something rather than something in it's own right. A few more details here and there would probably help to complete it too, how about some kind of pattern or texture?

Nice design, what program is this?

Perhaps with the addition of some brushes and font, it would be very cool.

I used Ulead PhotoExpress to finish it off which only allows you to use two preset brushes “circle” and “square” which are about as interesting as…… as…… the manufacturing of twiglets!

good point, though the manuafacturing of twiglets, must be interesting, because firstly, they have to make the snacks, so the probably chuck actual sticks in the machines, then the have to make it taste like crap, so etc...

then the have to cut them down and shape them and make them look shiny. hmmm.

Well I really like it, the simplicity and colouring is very cool. My only complaint would be the empty left side, but maybe that's just me?

I was wanting to leave some open space to put icons and things in.
