Shaking off the cobwebs and cleaning out our ears, we're BACK! And with a brand new contest. We all know that that lovely luscious lady beat our Brawls contest into submission, with her submission amirite? Well, her fabulous fickle finger of fate has fallen upon our next contest which isssssssssss...

THE SENSES CONTEST

Ah a senseless senses contest. We all know the five senses, right? No? Well it's spelled out for you up there in the promo for pete's sake. But in case you like to annoy me, here are the five senses again: Taste, touch, sight, smell, and sound. Your piece has to do with at least one of these senses. Smelling flowers, petting kittens, staring lovingly into another's eyes...oh wait, this is the Brotherhood...smelling dirty gym socks, punching Summers, staring at the chaos and destruction of a job well done, just about ANYTHING GOES! You can even mix it up, if you're clever, and use OTHER senses! The sixth sense, incense, dollars and cents, nonsense--THE POSSIBILITIES ARE KNOCKING ME SENSELESS!

CLARIFICATION: You CANNOT have a character just standing, doing nothing, with a blank background, looking in one direction and and call it "sight." No. Sorry. Please try to have a LITTLE more effort than that. The sense used should be DELIBERATE, CLEAR, and/or EASILY understood through a very simple explanation.

RULES:

1.) New art only! There are already some established pictures of the Brotherhood like this but, although it's tempting, we'd rather see you guys go through the effort of actually doing some new art for us.

2.) Nothing over R. Simple enough, no NC-17 stuff, or too much violence. This is a clean club!

3.) Members of the Brotherhood MUST BE INCLUDED and be the FOCUS of the piece. Characters like Rogue, Tabby, Mystique, Magneto, and the X-Men can also be used as long as there is at least ONE of the main five. The five being: Lance, Todd, Freddy, Pietro, and Wanda.

4.) You can submit up to 3 pieces. 3 shall be the number of the submitting and the number of the submitting shall be three.

5.) No Non-Evo Characters This is "The Brotherhood Club" based on the X-Men: Evolution Brotherhood. We want X-Men: Evolution canon characters only. This means no comic canon characters (Pete Wisdom, Lorna, Dazzler, etc), nor any other comic or fandom characters, and NO OCs (original characters). EVO CANON CHARACTERS ONLY.

6.) Send a note to the Brotherhood club with a link to your entry! Since the BHC does not watch everyone we don't always know when there's a new entry. Please be courteous and remember this, we won't know you've submitted an entry unless you note us or leave a link on our main page. Then we'll favorite it and showcase it in our journal.

SMELL the possibilities in the air? I can just SEE it now! The SOUND of 100 entries knocking down my door! I can almost TASTE it! I think it's a vision. Maybe my SIXTH SENSE?! Ah, now I'm not making any SENSE anymore. Ya FEEL me?

Picking what character should be what sense was a lot easier than I thought. After I decided Toad HAD to be smell, the others really fell into place. Though. The promo itself reminds me a little of the Illicit Activities Contest promo and the #Evo-Obsessed-Club's Vexing Sins Contest promo. Ahhh well...never said I was original.

I wanted to do colors and pattens that reminded me of the sense they were related too. It was really interesting to consider the colors of sound and smell and all that. I think I chose "orange" for taste only for the pun. I had no idea what color "touch" was...*BlazeRocket suggested purple, and thus...
