If I hadn't watched that episode and only seen this screencap redraw, I might've thought she was a kind older mare. Buuuuuut she's a spoiled witch.

Starlight Glimmer in Season 5 is what made me a fanatic for this wonderful show. I experienced real elation when she made her return in the Season 5 Finale. I wish I could feel emotion that epic even brought onto me again. I long for that feeling. I could literally hear my heart beating on that day in that very instant when she reappeared among the other ponies during Twilight's friendship lecture in Canterlot. My life peaked on that day.
i will always be biased cause thats the first time i had to wait for a season, after binge watching the first 4 so that was hype incarnate in iteself. But that season had so many great moments on its own.
I am really hoping that the next gen will give us a similar feeling <3 maybe,maybe not but at least we will have the memories <3
