Description
So finally painted something after digging myself out of this hole, then falling back in and stumbling on the way out with this.

Idea was pretty simple and I just kept developing and developing it until I ended up with this.
I hope you guys like it, I'd love to hear what you think about it!

I didn't realize this until just now but this picture is more or less a one year anniversary of me starting digital painting.
It's crazy to think an entire year has passed since I started and I hope to keep going for many more years to come
Thanks guys!
The time lapse can be found in this journal entry -->

Time lapses and stuff you should know!Well I just uploaded my first painting time lapse to go with the Sky Valley piece I painted recently. Although it took 110 minutes to upload it and it's only 5 minutes long and not a very big resolution (dammit internet!)...Ah well. On that note about resolution I apologize for the horrible quality it's in because when I was streaming I wanted to make sure it would stream smoothly and wouldn't crash any programs so I lowered the recording quality quite a bit.
Will have to remember to record in at least 720p next time.
You can find the time lapse below

In other news I'd like to bring an artist to your attention that I think needs a A LOT more love.
The artist is Ponadour and he has some amazing pieces of artwork in his portfolio so far and is worth the detour from your normal browsing!

This piece of art displays the different techniques of a well visualized and thought-provoking masterpiece. All in all, if there was a museum dedicated to pieces of artwork from MLP, this would go in the most honored section of the museum! Great Work!!! I especially love the way you showed the different areas of the realm. I can see very clear images of houses on clouds and the different wonders of nature that arise in our own world! I love the way that there is no detail that is not left out. And the lighting that greatly displays Twilight is impressive!!
