Description

Been doing a lot more streaming while I paint so this is another result of that, took around 10 hours to complete with most of that time spent just sitting back and looking to see what to add.
As you might have noticed from my recent artworks I really like clouds and things that glow so this picture ended up happening.

Let me know what you think I'd love to hear your opinion.

*Might go back and edit this a little further so if you have any input on what to add or change then please comment*

I'm stunned. This is probably my second favorite piece of abstract work I've seen from the fandom that i'm am just awe-struck by. Phenomenal job.

I'll start by saying that this is one of the the most wonderful color schemes I've seen in a piece of work in a long while. The BG is drawn out beautifully and complimented by the foreground, the mixing that occurs between your darker in lighter colors in wonderful. Your clouds are excellently drawn out and the way that you pictured the grass reacting to Fluttershy just kind of gives this are almost a lifelike feel (yeah, it doesn't really look like real life but it has the aesthetic feel) The starscape is wonderfully drawn and the particles left up front in the grass continue to give a more developed feel to your work and the warmth shading stands out wonderfully on FS.

Onward to the cons. While I enjoyed the texture I feel that they were gutted out of a base texture and then moved in and out of the levels of the pic, (Point is they don't feel like they belong to their own separate layers, the feel almost on top of each other originally in essence. The waterfall is a wonderful touch but my inability to see both where it begins and ends is a distracting little feature (more nit-picky but still visible). Jumping to Fluttershy, what bugs me is two things, the aurora being such a heavenly bright white light and the lack of cold colors on her body. The white light is almost blinding in a respect. I feel if it were a more blue complimenting color it would better meld with the pic (I dunno, just a thought)
Final line is the top edge line of the left closest mountain. It lacking of fog and aurora makes it stand out against the sky, which if you look at the other mountains, almost makes it odd man out in a sense. (It kind of looks shopped I guess, I can see the edges better)

With all that said, this is a nice piece of work. Original in essence, very pleasing to the eye and wonderfully drawn. Keep up the good work. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
