The Basics
Name: Holly
Nickname(s): None
Species: Meowstic
Age: Adult (equivalent to mid-20s)
Gender: Female
Team Information
Favorite Guild: Scholars.
Least Favorite Guild: None, really.
Rank: Second-in-command, though in her absence Menthe has assumed much of that role.
Physical Information
Accessory: She wears the traditional Scholars cloak, with a red clasp, as well as a belt including a pouch and several loops for vials.
Height: 2'2" as a Meowstic.
Weight: 10 kg.
Build: Holly isn't extremely lean; a decent amount of bulk runs in the family. That said, she is a little more slender and muscular than her sister, and much more so than her parents.
Personal Information
Nature: Lonely
Characteristic: Somewhat stubborn
Overview: Holly doesn't particularly mind anything outside of the small bubble of things she's chosen to care about. She keeps her interactions with other people workable but brief, and makes few friends.
In Conversation: Holly's very polite. Though she doesn't like to converse much, she will never end a conversation rudely. In fact, for her, politeness and clarity substitute for most other social skills. If she dislikes someone she can be blunt about stating it when necessary, but will otherwise not falter in being polite.
At a Glance: Holly is someone who doesn't want to be bothered, and up until you start talking to her, she generally gives that impression. Even then she seems to keep most people at arm's length. That said, she's happy to provide a great level of detail and answer any questions someone might have about her potions, or chemistry in general. Someone who wanted to make friends with her would probably have to start there.
Closer Bond: Only a few people get close to Holly, but she generally leaves them with a positive impression. Menthe considers Holly strong and reliable, and Holly's expedition has only dented that "reliable" impression. Her parents consider her hard-working, though they think she could relax and take breaks occasionally and that would be good. She writes often enough that they're satisfied.
Likes: Coffee, quiet nights, well-lit reading environments.
Dislikes: Loud people, heavy smells, giving presentations.
Fears: Holly fears the impossible. Specifically, she fears that she might not be able to accomplish her goals through chemistry... or at all.
Goals: She wants to become a dragon.
Combat Information
Battle Style: Holly tends to drink a lot of potions to get an edge in combat and regret it later. Aside from that, she likes to hit hard and fast when she can, and avoid battle otherwise. Fire breath is a particular favourite of hers; she uses it on its own and to light potions into explosive mixtures.
Prowess: She doesn't like doing it, and has a roughly 50/50 record of doing it. Since it recently caused her to turn into an Espurr, she has a fairly dim view of it.
Strengths: Strategy and potions.
Weaknesses: Agility and raw power.
Ability: A few people think that Holly's Competitive Ability might be one source of her rivalry with Madeline. Either way, it has the general benefit of letting her have a fighting chance when someone ambushes her... which is usually the sort of fight she ends up in.
Move Set
· Move 1: Holly doesn't really use Sucker Punch that often. When she does, it's a close-contact punch followed by digging her claws right into her enemy. When possible, she likes to go for the weakest point on someone's body.
· Move 2: Holly uses Thunderbolt by forming static from her fur into small, tossed bolts of lightning. It's reasonably effective, though it works poorly in humid climates like Tabira's.
· Move 3: Holly loves Flamethrower. She breathes fire and can get heat going for her experiments, light a campfire, or roast food. She's not very good at cooking, so roasting berries until they were probably not poisonous was her mainstay while she was out in the wilderness.
· Move 4: Holly's Barrier is generally focused directly around her body, like an invisible suit of armour (or, in her preference, like scales).
Stat Breakdown
Stamina: 6. She had to improve her stamina, and fast, once she left Tabira on her expedition.
Strength: 4. Nothing particularly notable here. She can breathe fire, though.
Agility: 5. For a cat, Holly is pretty sluggish.
Intelligence: 8. Holly is a very intuitive learner, and more focused on her own goals than contributing to others'. So her research papers are hard to follow and not always scientific. That said, those who can understand them generally find them fairly enlightened. She's a highly skilled chemist.
Charisma: 2. Her most successful potions are useful enough to sell themselves. She's capable of being very polite, and almost always is. That's about it.
History
Holly was a quiet, prim and proper young lady. She did a lot of chores at her family's corner shop. Her parents, a pair of Espurr, were good to her and Menthe, and she's still on good terms with them. One day, she saw a Noivern soaring through the skies; they landed at the shop and talked to Holly a bit. And Holly was completely smitten. From that moment on, she really, really wanted to be a dragon.
Joining
She joined the Scholars because she wanted to learn to become a dragon. Her high grades and her parents saying she needed a career goal helped.
Relationships
Menthe: She loves and cares for her sister but has trouble showing it. Her expedition to find potion components was for her sister as well as herself. Really, Menthe and her parents are the people she cares about in the world.
Chandra: They're fairly businesslike with each other, but they get along well enough. Chandra didn't want Holly to leave, and curtailed some of her more excessive research habits, but Holly understands the rationale behind both of these things.

I thought I'd do this meme with an NPC. The meme only requires a little modification to make it work, and it was pretty fun!

Holly wants to become a dragon, but Madeline was the one who learned to shapeshift. That must be galling.
