I want to say sorry to all those people who I watch but haven't given feedback on their work for ages, but instead I'll say thank you to everyone who's been watching and commenting on my work in the past many months. Being very busy with work, I've done what I've been able to in terms of taking and processing photos, as well as writing poetry, but I haven't taken the time to check out what everyone else has been up to. Now that I'm on vacation, I'm slowly going through the work by the people I watch. It's such a pleasure, so much beauty and really touching art that I get to look at and read. Thanks for that to everyone who is sharing their art on here. :) So this is mostly to say - if you start getting comments on stuff you posted almost a year ago, you now know why. :D I hope everyone's well and enjoying summer/winter!

today is a special day for me: it's the day i got my first poem published! :) it's published in consilience, an online science journal. my poem also was one of the editor's picks, so you can also hear me read my poem out loud if you want. my poem: the issue: you can find the audio recording on the front page of the issue (under the editorial) and on soundcloud: today's a good day!

A singer-songwriter friend of mine, Rebecca Clamp, asked people to send in videos of themselves with things that have helped them get through the pandemic. That's how I ended up in my first music video ever. :D It's a really lovely song, I recommend you listen to it! All the Good Things in the Bright Air by Rebecca Clamp and Hans Wessels:

You're welcome! :) I always enjoy discovering new poets around here - although you're hardly new here and you actually found me. :D But still!
