Hey everyone, I made a couple of new tutorials that are now up on YouTube! They explain Photoshop's "Blend If" sliders and why you should be using them if you aren't already. They're kind of a hidden feature, but they'll make your life a million times easier. Enjoy!
2,400 free high-res NASA images for artists
I recently compiled a pack of around 2,400 free high-res Creative Commons NASA photos for artists to use in their work, you can check it out and download it below. I plan on putting more together as well, for free of course, so keep an eye out. Just make sure you read the usage info in the pack if you decide to use them. There's a torrent file available as well. I'm also offering up over 1,250 images of my own personal stock from Australia for super duper cheap at $6 as a way to help me offset the cost of my time in putting together the free resource packs. Check it out if that interests you at all. If not, no worries, but you can enjoy and
Stock Use + Stock Art Feature 7
Stock UseSome of my favourite stock uses in the last few weeks or so - I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do  Stock Art FeaturesThere's so much lovely stock out there, I should really do this more frequently - then it wouldn't be so hard to choose at least ^^;
UNRESTRICTED USE STOCK ACCOUNTS
If you want to be part of this list, with its unrestricted stocks, post in the comments I'll add. (Before using stock, check the rules on the artist's page to verify that they have not changed. )If you have an unrestricted stock account and would like to be included in the list above, all the images in your account must be unrestricted. I found it interesting disclose. OMG this was super, super, super useful! Super! It really was, I do this kind of stuff all the time but I do it through blending modes, selections and stuff... and i never knew what was the use of blending if! I'm gonna be using it all the time now! Thank you so much! It's going to save me a lot of time! And I loved that tip about changing the color of shadows, I have always used photo filter layer with masks and it's a little bit tedious.
Thank you so much! ^^
Thank you so much! ^^
No problem! I used to do a lot of stuff that same way, using multiple techniques with masks, and blending modes and selections, but Blend If can really cut down on how much you need to do manually.
