Desertrunner Sabertooth (adopt, open)

Desertrunner sabertooth cats are an ancient breed, created to be ridden by desert warriors and hunters. They thrive in arid and harsh conditions, and they're somewhere between endurance runners and sprinters, so they're versatile enough for various types of activities. They're highly intelligent pack animals and scavengers, so they lack the uncontrollable hunter's instinct of other large cats, making them more suitable for travel and focus. their manes are extremely soft and fine, and grow a bit like a horse's. They're usually styled in ponytails and recently there has been an interest in breeding showing Desertrunners for their looks and mane quality. Their tails are similarly soft but do not grow in any substantial length. Their coats can range from cream white to dark blue or chocolate and they can be striped or spotted, with the distinctly darker extremities always present in the species.
