HDR Toning starting from a single image, using my own toning process (only subtle adjustments are applied; customization and photomanipulation are excluded).
It's possible to see the difference between source image, default Photoshop HDR Toning preset, LuminanceHDR single image toning, and my own processing result. Please, note that HDR images can only be generated using bracketing and merging techniques. Due to the single 8-bits low dynamic range image limitations (impossible to obtain light informations from under-/over-exposed parts of the image) the result can only simulate as near as possible the result achievable with real HDR images. Moreover, high quality images are required to obtain the best results. Highly compressed and/or small low quality JPG images aren't good for this process.
