So I picked up a Wacom Bamboo the other day and have been periodically trying it out as a drawing/painting/navigation tool and it seems to be quite versatile a little tool. Unfortunately, running the art programs with it seems quite complicated so I think it'll be a good while of me getting to know how to use it the way I want to.
This brings me to my general feelings when it comes to doing digital work--no sir I don't like it. Oh I would love it if I grew up doing it, I'm sure. But I didn't and so it seems as foreign to me as the Kenyan veldt. So the learning gap is there and I don't really have as much time to dedicate to learning as I
I didn't know if Deviant Art had anything for me when I first started my account WAY back when, and I decided pretty soon after signing up to move on to nowhere really. And now that I've made an effort to get involved more, it seems that I've found what I was missing the first time around. A place to get motivated by others' work and passion for art, photography and the like. It's good to be back and hindsight proves true again.
