Commissions are Going to Cost More.I've been meaning to put up my commission prices for a while now but I haven't been able to stop, think about it and prepare a new price guide. Time and money have been stressing me out recently and the thought of giving up art or commissions has been creeping into my mind because it's not been so fun recently.
I'd like to try have a broader range of prices so I can do stuff for people who can't afford higher prices, so that might be sketches, coloured sketches, head shots some experimental stuff.
I tend to take a lot of time making my current commissions so it might be more fun for me to do rough, less polished stuff as a bit of a compromise.
If you want a commission let me know what your idea is and I'll still try get to you with a price. If that's too much let me know what you could spend and we might be able to work something out.
If you have any questions or suggestions leave a comment.
It's Journal Time
I want to ask. What do you want to see me make more of? Just throw some ideas down there in the comments.
When I started out with my Deviant Art I started by doing requests until there was too many for me to keep up with and my head exploded. It was always fun doing requests though because I could take some ones idea, have fun with it and not worry about them liking it. If the requester got super entitled and started complaining that I was making something that I didn't want I could just tell them to 'fuck off'. When it got too much I moved onto doing commissions which was great because I get paid to draw. People who commission are a hell of a lot more respectful and less entitled than people who demand free requests, which is odd because by virtue of paying for artwork they are entitled to it. I will respect commissioners requests to change things though, and I'll send sketches to make sure things are on track. I've never come close to feeling like
Happy New Year 2017Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been so quiet for what seems like the whole of 2016. I didn't really mean for it to be this way but that's how it turned out. I haven't stopped making artwork or anything, it's just that 2016 seemed to be a year of big projects. What I've learned is that when I do a big project I get bogged down and start to go slow. Because of that 2016 wasn't really a great year for me and I'm planning on making 2017 better. But first I still need to finish this big project. Here's a sneak-peek. It's Killing me right now but Hopefully when I look back on it in a year I'll be very happy with it. It's also going to be the last big picture I do for a few years.... Unless they become incredibly profitable which I don't see happening.
There's five more on my website, click here to visit it.
So what about 2017? I plan on doing lots more little projects. I want to start getting a good drawing done ev
Streaming the big thing!
Today I'll be carrying on some work on this big beast of a picture. I'll be streaming at Piczel
This isn't even half the picture.
On a side note I want to apologise for neglecting my Deviant Art page for so long. Not just my page but art in general. Life is being a little turbulent for me right now but as you might have noticed the bondage bug has bit me really hard and I've been getting really excited about drawing artwork (especially bondage stuff) again. This week I've been getting up and making art like a mad man and I love it. I hope this level of determination continues and I hope to make plenty of artwork you guys love.
Time for streaming. If you like to ask me anything come and chat
CommissionsHey everyone! I'm open for commissions as always.
My commissions are always drawn big just in case you'd like a print. You, the commissioner, will receive the full size picture file which you can use to make your own personal prints and the rest of the DA public get to see puny versions.
(please ask me about licences for commercial use if you're planning on that)
I may consider doing tiny web only pictures for cut prices.
I may also consider sketches and line art.

Warning/Call out Journal - TheChaosRuler (UPDATE5)WARNING: LOTS of swearing and opinions down below. Read at your own risk.
This has gone on for long enough, and I am sick and tired of all of it.
CALL OUT/WARNING JOURNAL AGAINST; TheChaosRuler
Any updates and added information will be provided near the bottom of this journal.
DO NOT ATTACK OR APPROACH HIM. NOT ONLY IS HE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR EFFORT, BUT IT COULD GET YOU BANNED. MY ADVICE IS JUST AVOID HIM, BLOCK IF NECCESSARY. DO NOT DO ART TRADES/REQUESTS FOR THIS GUY.
It is about fucking time I brought all of this to light. You stopped talking to me and un-watched me, so I can only assume you want nothing else to do with me. I don't have to defend you anymore. We're not friends, and now it's time to warn others so that they don't have to go through the same BULLSHIT you put me and so many other people through.

deviantART on our Lucky 13As you get older, you may begin to see birthdays as a distinctive point in time. A time for reflection on past successes, past roadblocks, past lessons. I also see it as an opportunity to look forward, set goals, aim ridiculously high. I'm sure everyone's heard people joke about disliking getting older and lamenting another year passing, but not me. Not yet, at least. The wisdom and hard lessons I've had to learn over the years helps me map out my immediate future. I may stumble, sure, but I also have a lifetime of overcoming obstacles and analyzing achievements to guide my decisions. All I can do is keep learning and growing.
I feel much the same way about deviantART.
I don't need to tell you that a web property sticking around for 13 years is a rare thing, and it's not an accomplishment we take lightly. We owe our continued existence to all of you, and the passion and inspiration that emanate so naturally from the community, from the most successful professional to the mo

Do you know what fires your imaginationEverybody has an imagination. Some of us have learned to use ours better than others. People say they aren't creative, but everybody is creative, because everybody has an imagination.
Imagination needs to be fed, but not necessarily in the form your medium. Because that is akin to cannibalism to me.
Do you know what fires your imagination?
-- Justin Maller ekud
spyed: Why do creative people need a community?
ekud: Everybody needs a community, it's a deviation from the norm to have creativity be a defining characteristic of your person. A central tenant of your life. However you want to say it. So to find a group of people that share that, and have that affinity, is a basic human need. To have affinity with others.
spyed: Does having access to a community of like-minded people help the creative process in your view?
ekud: Sharing your affinity with others is what's going to feed that basic need that you're not necessarily going to be able to find within arms
F.A.Q. TIME!!I get quite a few messages here on DA with various questions and requests. I don't have time due to work and family to answer all of them individually like I would like so I think a handy-dandy FAQ is in order. This way maybe I can answer a question before it's even asked and/or have a journal I can easily direct people to. So here we go!
Q: Can you give me any tips on how to draw/color,paint/whatever better?
A: The quick and easy answer is that there aren't any secrets to being able to draw well. I know it's not what people want to hear and everyone is looking for a magic trick that will instantly make them a better artist. The truth is that I have dedicated 1000s of hours to art in an effort to get better. I attended figure drawing classes, went to conventions and spent hours talking to other artists, and spent nearly every dime I had on books and art supplies. I lived it and breathed it. When you were out on a date or playing video games or seeing movies I was probably home d
[FREE RAFFLE] It's that time of year again...!
Thank you all for your support! ; w ;
Is it tradition now that it's the third year in a row? YES, LETS SAY YES!
THANK YOU, each and every one of you, for all your support in the past year! I've tried to be around as much as possible this year, and I hope it shows. My to-do list is at it's all-time historical low, and my clearance rate has been going up too. But that wouldn't have been possible without all of you guys' patience and support. As always, I wish I had the time to answer every comment I get, but I somehow always find myself low on time to do that AND keep up the arting pace. I do read them all, and each and every one of them makes me so happy that someone took the time out of their day to give me their feedback. More than anything, thank YOU GUYS! I couldn't do this without you. And to show that, it's the yearly free raffle!
More winners will be pulled this year: 3 guaranteed win
Using Cross-Figure With Genesis 8Cross-Figure Genesis 3 is a program that allows you to use Genesis 3 Female hair and clothing on Genesis 3 Male and vice versa without using AutoFit. There are some extra steps using it with Genesis 8, but you don't have to be able to use a modeling program (unless you want to make a better ID morph after you're done, but we'll get to that).
Here's a YouTube version. You'll have to turn your sound up. Sorry.
