Hello folks,
Busy, busy end of 2013 - a nice way to get into 2014 at full power (no vacations, sigh but for the best reason possible).
Here is something I wanted to share for a while, and now I'm able to - I had the honor of being invited by the all mighty ImagineFX, to create a workshop based on the search for the personal style.
I tried to be as direct and honest as possible, and if you get the chance of reading it, you'll see that my overview on this subject has much to do with the personal way we perceive/deconstruct/rearrange the world into our own personal myths, as with the visual languages themselves - wich are the consequence. I've named the workshop "Unlocking your Inner Myths", hence the little key in the beard... (talk about getting literal)
To illustrate and give motion to the workshop, I've painted this portrait, and recorded the whole process on a (long) timelapse video - I guess IFX will make the video available at some point? Anyway, it was my first time doing something like this, so I can already say I'll create more timelapse processes from my personal works, in the future... truly fun to do.
