I think it was right after the second season of the Tudors aired on Showtime that I said to myself, “With how much Showtime loves to air historical scandal and porn, they totally need to do a show like this with the Borgias!”… and now I find out that Showtime has read my mind and done just that! Plus Neil Jordan will be directing it with Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia… so now I have to watch it, lol!
Anywho, in honor of that I have made this wallpaper with Bartolomeo Veneto’s portrait of Lucrezia Borgia, daughter of Pope Alexander VI.

Love your work! I am really interested in Monarchy-ish stuff as well and came across you work while researching. LOVE and still miss the Tudors. I really wish that show would have kept going after Henry died! I wanted to see "Bloody Mary" take over. I wanted to love the Borgia's... but was disappointed with the episode I watched.
