its so generous of you to share your knowledge like this. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate it. This one is so advanced, I'd be scratching my head throughout most of it. lol the part where u said 'after a few hours', my thought is, okay, if this takes her 3 hrs or more? I can plan on 3 days for me!
Anyway, thanks for your generosity

No matter how cool the effects.. (and this is an amazing feat, believe me I understand) it wouldn't make any sense to make/build any kind of robot this way no matter what generation/prototype. (I love your work, and perhaps this i all for the sake of showing off the effects) but as an 'as-is' 'art-picture' it bothers my eye and aesthetic senses.
This concept of mine that I made a few days ago [link] shows kind of what I mean. I guess the question is: do we want to make pleasure bots that look plastic-y and hard or do we want to simulate as much 'human' as possible in the creation of the bots. Do we want.. 'iRobot' chix or 'Stepford wives'? I for one would not want my finger, skin or worse to get snagged in one of these large and sharp openings.. So it would be Stepford wives.. minus the crazy
Your technique and skill is amazing, inspiring really
I'll be using some of what I learned here in my future projects
Also, I have to use Hi-res/HD images..
