It's been a while since I've lasted posted anything new here. Unfortunately, during the last few months deviantART has been troubling me with performance issues, so I haven't been able to see other people's pictures nor upload my own. Right now it's working smoothly, let's see if it stays like this from now on. :)
During this short hiatus, I've started working on a retro game project that looks promising, so far. Once I get more stuff done, I'll make sure to show a few pics here. And out there, in real life, life's been treating me quite well, so I've been able to focus on my projects. Hope to hear from my fellow deviantartists!
I've been posting my pictures here on deviantART for 8 years, and in the last few of them I've been using it as a serious place for my best pictures. That has kept me from doing those little sketches and doodles that are so useful in keeping the hands working well.
Thanks to the pressure from a group of furry dudes in my city, I've decided to open an account on that art site, FurAffinity, a few months ago. Despite the huge loads of downright-scary porn that made the site famous, it's got quite a bunch of interesting artists aswell, and since it's an art network where I could stay in touch with my friends from Brasilia, I thought
During the last couple of years I've spent a few months recovering from injuries on my arm and elbow. While my workstation at my job is pretty sweet, totally adjustable and all that, my chair and table at home were pretty uncomfortable. Knowing that I intend to use my right arm for many years, I've finally decided to change these two pieces to something adequate to long hours sitting in front of a computer drawing on a tablet. :)
Have you guys ever been through similar injuries? In any case, I'd suggest you take a look at how your workstation is set for your activities. It's really annoying to postpone what you're doing because of such simpl
