Once again my impatience defeats me, but at the same time, I'm really happy that I even sketched out some fanart for this book.

Ancillary Justice is one of the most enjoyable books I've read in the past year. I'm so excited that there is a sequel coming out!
I just really loved the characters, especially the weird dynamic between Justice of Toren One Esk Nineteen (alias Breq while passing as human), an isolated ancillary of an enormous ship A.I.,  and Seivarden, a druggy snob ex-captain who did not take well to waking up a thousand years after being put in stasis. Justice just gets really fed up with having to babysit Seivarden all the time, and Seivarden has quite the journey to make from selfish brat to ... well, not quite so selfish brat? I won't spoil it for you xP

This isn't dialogue from the book but it pretty much sums up a few of their more amusing interactions. Yes, in her more annoyed moments Justice has threatened to break both of Seivarden's legs, among other things.

Seivarden: Aatr's tits, I'm not going to do anything! And you should probably stop joking about that. People might think you're serious.

I actually do imagine Justice with darker skin than I showed here but her face turned out so nice *cough*DaneelInfluenced*cough* I was afraid to shade it. SEivarden is canonically dark of hair and skin and eyes. 

I may have to try again. Actually I have some other niche books I want to draw fanart of too.
