So, I'm coming off a few weeks of stress to rival the college application process mixed with the worst finals week ever, but in comparison everything is amazing and sparkly and the whole world seems conquerable. So here's a quick list of things that are great about my life right now:
1) I'm officially going to Italy in the Spring to spend a whole semester wandering around breathtaking cathedrals, re-visiting some of my favorite places in the world and eating as much gelato as possible ... oh yeah, and learning about art history and Italian culture.

It's National Coming Out Day, and I'm bisexual and proud!
It's just been a wonderful feeling on campus today. We had organizations set up in the main area of campus with pride flags and information on local resources. I had the chance to really get a positive message out there about the importance of Coming Out Day through my column in the newspaper. And Demyrie (https://www.deviantart.com/demyrie) and I got to witness an impromptu performance of "Seasons of Love" in our Union at lunch. It's amazing how sometimes blocks in one's creative life coincide so perfectly with blocks in one's personal life. I'm not sure which one came first, the writer's block or the life block, but they both evaporated last night. So it's on to better and brighter things, and trying to keep things in balance for a while so I don't get all bogged down again in either sphere -- at least until I get back to Norman and have a life again.
