How To Draw Using Adobe Flash by radstylix How To Draw Using Adobe Flash by radstylix
cat-nine.net/how-to-draw-using…

I managed to remember to put aside the unfinished drawings, so here’s a quick tutorial about drawing using Adobe Flash. I use the Brush tool with pressure enabled, circular brush shape, and brush size turned up to the max. Enjoy!

interesting way to do thicker outlines. i always thought flash let you just select lines and thicken them

If you used the pencil tool to draw, then yes. I changed to using Brush since it's more alive I guess.

Yeah, and pencil tool just doesn't look hand-drawn enough to me... so brush tool! Sometimes the Pencil tool bugs out when I'm shading, and somehow a part of the drawing (sometimes all) are filled with black, and undoing it DOESN'T work (it undos, but nothing happens), so I need to save often. :|

oh crapbumbles. sounds like youve been through some shiiiiit. i think we all have our stories... i remember when i accidentally used fillbucket on anti-alias and it slowly ate away at the outlines

Yikes, hopefully you were able to undo that. Good thing I don't have to deal with anti-alias in Flash!

The auto-save (every 10 mins.) has saved me occasionally since Flash just loves to crash, often in inconvenient times.

whoa, autosave. i like that. but then you might have issues with that whole 'saving during crash' problem..  i'm good at saving..
yeah that was just ages ago, when I was still wrestling with photoshop. and now I know I should have been wrestling with mangastudio instead, it's so much better.

I don't think corrupted saves has happened to me yet, thankfully. Yeah, Photoshop wasn't meant for drawing in the first place. You can use it to draw, but it's not ideal. Is Manga Studio good?
