LOL, it seems each time I update this, it's roughly a year later, around the same time. O_O
Anyway, I'll be attending a few conventions this year, notably A-kon in Fort Worth, TX (June 7-10) and Mini-Mini Con in San Antonio, TX this weekend (May 5th). I'll be trying to shoot for San Japan again this year. Alas, I didn't get in through their stupid lottery system. e_e So yeah, I gotta submit an entry to their contest to get in. AGAIN. Ugh.... u_u
I wanted to make a quick message concerning those interested in sharing my work via instagram, tumblr, facebook, etc.
I know how much of a challenge it can be to hound the artist, ask for permission, and wait an eternity for a response, especially if you're running a fandom club and just spent an hour emailing/messaging. I once ran a Devil May Cry fan site during the dark days of the internet (where Geocities was the shit and only Japanese DMC fan sites were around), so I know the pain is real. ;A;
With that said, anyone interested in posting my work on their site, instagram, club, tumblr fan blog, or whatever, DOES have my permission to host my work there.
Simply credit me and leave a link to my art page (be it on deviantart, tumblr, etc). Additionally, it'd be great if you left me a note saying you included my work in your site/club/etc. This isn't mandatory, but I am a nerd and love visiting sites that have been kind enough to promote my work. Also, there are times when I'll receive tremendous traffic out of the blue and I always feel bad being unable to thank that person/organization that pimped out my work.
If anyone has any questions or recommendations, please share them here. I'll get to it asap.
Even though I don't often update my journal and post art at a snail pace, I still do check in, so don't hesitate to leave a message. Even if it takes awhile to reply, I will get back to you.
