Wow, it's amazing to see Telefang come to life through your drawings :) I only found it when the bootleg versions first came out and while they were riddled with mistake and glitches the world of it was still a fond memory.

Your daily denjuu series is really great!! But I miss some of my favourite denjuus.... I would REALLY like to see Gymzyrus, Bashou and Storm in your drawing style - because you draw GREAT!! Are you going to finish this series, or is it stopped Tears ?

I will continue it, maybe soon even, I've just been terribly terribly busy with other stuff and my breaks between Denjuu have been longer than I anticipated.

by the way, I did a little research on the franchise, but I'm still not sure I really understand it; so basically it's like pokémon only you call them with your mobile phone, if I didn't get that embaressingly wrong... But how do the Denjuu relate to one another? Do they have evolutions, fusions, variations or that sort of thing?

The best info is at Wikifang (though looking over the Denjuu article it's rather stubby, I need to fix that :x)

The basic plot is that, in 2020 humans somehow discovered a parallel world (dimension?) inhabited by sapient monsters called Denjuu. The Denjuu world is also full of "antenna trees" which give off some sort of electrical signal, I believe this signal is also the source of Denjuu and their abilities (I think they're all born from specific powerful antenna trees but this is never made completely clear iirc.)

It was discovered that certain cellphones - called D-Shots - are able to pick up on signals given out by the antenna trees, allowing for them to basically be used as teleporters. Humans gave D-Shots to all of the Denjuu so they could travel around easier. Since this is a monster RPG, of course the Denjuu also love battling one another, these battles are called Telefang. Humans who befriend Denjuu and fight alongside them are referred to as T-Fangers.

As for evolutions - Denjuu do evolve yes, by levelling up or fusing with different kinds of items, and in Telefang 1 you could also extract DNA and combine that with them for lab evolutions. The evo trees can get a little convoluted, eg [link]
