Description
Gryphons are, anatomically-speaking, really bizarre creatures to think about. If this is an animal made of an avian and a quadruped, then what you'd think of as the gryphon's front legs are technically hind legs. This means to fit together believably it's either got to have two pairs of shoulders (wings/front legs) or two pelvises (front legs/back legs.) Because cramming a bunch of shoulder blades together probably wouldn't work very well, I fused the two halves by extending the avian tailbone into the quadruped spine, melding the two ribcages into one, and giving it two pairs of hips.

OMG! I am trying to work out gryphons and I did the same kind of thing, two hips! But mine look stranger, and fat. I was trying to figure out how flexible the thing would be in the back. I am very frustrated with it, I just don't do gryphons! Thank you for making this, it helps out a lot! *grabs a new piece of paper*
