The parrot

I'm not usually very impressed by visuals unless they're photography related, so I'd like to say right from the start that everything I have to say about this piece should be read as a huge compliment, because I'm very impressed by this, though I'm not really qualified to be giving you a critique! Birds fascinate me, they're brilliant creatures with amazing personalities, and I love the shy & cunning character you've created in this piece! The colors are brilliant -- I love the fading & unfinished edges, the grunge feel of the piece, the splatter, it's all marvelous! You gave him poise & power even though his body language insists a tender or sly demeanor -- he's been made to be the king, but also the court jester! I could go on and on about this piece, it really is wonderful, thanks so much for creating & sharing it with us ^^.
