What a fantastically thoughtful piece. I like the barely-legible type drawing the eye to the bottom corner. The white splotchy lines in the middle have the look of a map... just really neat.

Missed this one on the first pass. I love this style, especially on an old book

that's wonderful. it gives me a feeling that some unexpected event may occur during that walk in the snow.
did you draw those people?

yes, but from a picture, i took only one shade of them, to create another atmosphere.

Good to see your recycling :D this is great...actually all your stuff as of late is bloody great...i have just been a lazy arse and not commented...soz ^^

The white inverted background of this painting ...is it a ruin of a city scape or something else? I think I can see a tank in amongst the rubble but I might be mistaken  In that case the local inhabitance are fleeing the crumbling city?

Love it! You work as well on books as you do on butchers paper. Well done buddy!

actually you're tottally right, except the tank-thing, i used a picture from WWII (again) and it depicts people walking along a ruin, bombarded by the allies in berlin! sharp perception!

greetings, thanks for the comment!

Great work. Although i'm starting to wonder if you've run out of drawing paper and just had the newspaper to hand ;) lol only jking. I love the way the colour on the newspaper adds in texture to these paintings, and the way the paint has been spread thin in parts.

lovely job :) (kinda feels like vector art *odd, i know*, must be the clean composition :D) i wonder if they're walking to, or walking away. A fun piece to ponder!!

how did you do the newspaper (or book?) effect? is it painted? or just glued to canvas ;-)

I actually took the time to succesfully paint it, including the typeface, hell of a job.... hehehe- just glued it, off course :p
