Some quick recognition tipsI remember it can be quite tough to gain recognition on DeviantArt when you first start out. It's a massive website with so many features and ways to interact! When I started out, I was lucky to have a friend of mine giving me a little shoutout in their journal, which gained me my first couple of watchers. I'll do the same in this journal for some new Deviants I found that have really cool galleries, and I thought of giving a couple of tips as well on gaining recognition:

Loads of interaction! DeviantArt is considered a social media website as well as an art site, and offers many more tools for interaction, feedback, and commenting than Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr ever will! Use it wisely

A logline is a one sentence pitch of your story. It can be used on Twitter, but it's also used in person as an elevator pitch. It's the distilled essence of stakes, story, and character. Some people find it frustrating and intimidating, but I find it easier to do a logline than a query.
I got a few bites from agents, so I was quite pleased. I gained a lot of sympathy for them around 3 in the afternoon, though. YouTube stuff + Update stuffSo, things are little bit hectic right now, and YouTube has been giving me a bit of hassle lately. I seem to have been losing subscribers since my last stream on my main channel, with a very big loss on my last Animated Atrocities upload, which is worrying, especially because any theory that I've had towards the numbers doesn't fit all of the evidence. (If people were getting sick of me talking about Growing Around stuff, then I should have had a positive turnaround when I uploaded an Animated Atrocities video). Add to that that like every single video this year has been copyright claimed, and let's just say that things have been discouraging as of late.
Other than that, I'm trying to stay optimistic, although the hot summer is making that a little bit difficult. But, some stuff that's coming up I guess. Most importantly is my Animated Atrocity review - with the upcoming Rugrats reboot, it's time to tackle Angelica and Suzie Preschool Daze, that show there that lasted four episo
