Arrow -large-

Okay, so on the greenway behind my house, there is this arrow. I'm not quite sure why it's there, or where it is pointing to. I mean, it's a two-way path, right? Why do we need some arrow telling us which way to go?

I'm tempted to walk the other way, just to be defiant.
