This is my rendition of my favourite scene in "Life of Pi" [link]. This was actually the scene in the trailer that made me want to watch the movie, gosh it's just gorgeous. If you guys haven't watched the movie, you should really check it out! The visuals are stunning, leaving me in constant awe throughout the movie and the plot is really interesting too! I tried to do as much justice I could do to the scene, but..I lack accuracy when it comes to recreating scenes /OTL

Last upload till I get older, sigh 16 was so good to me. I've been lacking patience so sorry if my art has been a bit lackluster lately. Hopefully this year will be even better for me! ^U^

Nice Pic.

I'm glad that Ang Lee directed this BEAUTIFUL movie

Its hard to believe that Hollywood wanted M. Night Shyamalan to make the movie before handing it over to Ang lee.

M. Night Shyamalan says,"Though Lee did a wonderful job, I think my film would have been different from his version. Different perspectives, I guess. When I was approached to do the film, I wanted more time. The production house wanted me to do it right away, but I’m sure they had their reasons. It took them six years to find another director.

And for James Cameron, Known for "Aliens, Terminator, Titanic and Avatar, says, "Life of Pi breaks the paradigm that 3-D has to be some big, action fantasy spectacle, superhero movie [....] The movie is visually amazing, inventive, and it works on you in ways you’re not really aware of. It takes you on a journey, and unless you’ve read the book – which I hadn’t – you have no idea where that journey is going. It does what good 3-D is supposed to do, which is, it allows you to forget you’re watching a 3-D movie."

Beautiful! This was also my favourite scene, seen as I'd done some research a few months before I saw the movie about this kind of thing, and it is real! This is really stunning! :D

I remember that scene.

I was like, "Oh look, it's a whale!"
And then said, "OH GOD IT'S A WHALE, MOVE!"

That being said, this is very nice work.

I love it! I watched the film, it is an amazing visualisation of the book (which I read too). I gotta say this was also one of my favorite parts, especially the reflections on the water, the lights, the animals.

Hullo!! I have been looking through your work for some time now and I must say you, if I may, are deeply inspiring. I absolutely love your work. It's beautiful. I adore your use of colour, your skilful manipulation in making the fictional seem real. Making me want to jump into picture and be apart of the luscious colours and adventure. If I may, will you answer us, your fans and secret admirers (as I have been) this one question: are you planning to further your artistic skill and pursue a career in this realm? I've noticed that you don't do commissions and favours, and we can only guess that you have great prospects lined up for you! But if this is just a hobby thing, that's totes cool, as well, I suppose. Will you have the heart to answer one admirer, and tell us your future plans?

Regards, secret admirer of your god given talents.
