Ok. Well, was thinking that maybe I should extend my idea.
In the summer of 2025, two things were swimming around my head. One of them was the Anne of Green Gables series. Seeing a couple of episodes of the new Anne-Ime, and two of my bosses visiting Prince Edward Island (the island that Anne Shirley lived in...except in the 1910 silent film that moved it to New England, that Lucy Maude Montgomery herself hated, but that version is lost, so it doesn't count), made me think of this. The other thing? Metroidvanias. Played a few that year (the Ori games, the Ender Flowers games, and AfterImage), because of being hyped about Hollow Knight: SilkSong, which finally came out!
So I started writing a walkthrough for a video game that doesn't exist. Anne of the Stolen Islands.

I'll give you the couple of mine I have most been thinking of.....
Steve Tiberius Philman on the left, and Marissa Oleson to the right. Shoutouts to Nightfishy
So, I wanted to do a nice shoutout to a fellow dArtist, @nightfishy !
Her style is based on manga, and done digitally.
I'm going to be showing a lot of her wonderful pictures here, but there's no way to include them all. Choosing which ones to place here wasn't always as easy as I'd like it to be.
Among her favorite subjects, there's Sara Crewe, from the anime "Princess Sara", based on the book "A Little Princess" by British-American author Frances Hodgson Burnett (who also wrote Little Lord Fauntleroy, and The Secret Garden) Some of @nightfishy 's pics with Sara in them?
Then there's the way I most likely found her wonderful works in the first place (don't quote me on this, I don't have an infallible memory), Anne Shirley. From the Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maude Montgomery of Canada.
Generally, they're based on the two animes based on them (the Anne-imes?): Akage No Anne (from 1979, although a prequel series was done in the 2000s), and Anne Shirley of 2025.

1)I originally gave her a different tail, but @JMBdraws redesigned it, and I decided that her tail design is now canon.
2) The name of her race is "Oriotri." They look like humans, but have tails, and also interesting "horn" growths on their heads. In Aislinn's case, the hair completely covers them. They're also among the races that are naturally "magically inclined", having all kinds of magical and psionic powers. She and her brother are even more powerful, but do not fully know these powers.
3) Her best friend, and one of her adoptive "sisters", is Holly Oleson. Her other adoptive sister is Marissa Oleson, who is also like a mother to the two.
4) She lost her parents when she was almost five years old. Then a couple of years later, her brother and herself lots their Aunt Lulian, well, they were told
