Welcome to Pelelini!

West of Nu'u-Sara, Ai'a'ive, one can find the Village of Pelelini, Itulagi (Region) of Mauga-Lanu-Meamata, in Ai'a'ivea, in the Pacific. This village is known for many things. Valleys, hills, and lots of trees. There's a hill with an observatory and radio and weather towers, there's also a large greenhouse. Said village is also known for its community gardens. There's also a farmer's market that's an area attraction. There's lots of water, in fact it's on a t-junction in the river. It has important temples, particularly to the God of Night, Fetu (the name also means "star"), who's kind of the patron deity of this village (but there are places of worship of other religions as well!) This village is majority Ai'a'ive. The Ai'a'ive are a race of winged humans. And yes, this country is named after them.

The other thing this village has is street-running. As in train tracks on streets. The lights hanging over the track there are for this. When a train is coming, a diagonal arrow appears to tell drivers to go into the right lane (the middle lane here is supposed to be for passing, only) Also, wondering about those "barber poles"? Those are Belisha Beacons, used to protect pedestrian crosswalks in the UK and a few other countries, these ones have additional lights attached, they flash red to tell pedestrians not to cross, if a train is approaching.

Am thinking of adding a character to this, but I'll try it without anyone first, have two versions.

Yes, the Ai'a'ive language and culture is a bit inspired by Samoa. There is an actual Samoan legend that mentions "Winged Fijians"...who also happen to be kleptomaniacs. So why not "Winged Samoans?" "Ai'a'ive" doesn't actually mean anything, I came up with it randomly.

UPDATE 2: Made minor changes, improved the speed limit sign....and upped it. It's now 25 MPH/40 Km/h. ArtRock15 I also thickened the red ring to make it a bit more consistent with the "red rings" that most countries use for speed limits.
