So I've had a lot going on lately. In my head. As usual, I don't know really where to begin. So I guess I'll do it like Kid n' Play and go Back to the Basix. I've never been much of a Green Peace Tree Hugging Environmentalist type of leftist. But, honestly, what is more basic than the state of the environment. When I graduated from High School one of the speakers, Rev. Billy Kyles, who was with Dr. King when he was shot, talked about the environment. He pointed out that just ten years ago if you had told him that he would have to buy his water or that there would be days that people with respiration problems would be advised to stay indoors

Every year on the first Monday following 15 January, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, people take their paid day off of work, students take off school, and the white media will publish an obligatory editorial about the life and times of Dr. King. Television news will talk about his contributions in the battle for desegregation in Birmingham (1963), the "I Have A Dream" speech in Washington, D.C. Thanks... I have been busy lately with moving and starting classes, but I am contemplating a serious post questioning the justifications of the War in Afghanistan... through my other posts I percieved there is a certain assumption of righteousness in that campaign...
Yeah, everyone conveniently forgets the offer to hand over Bin Laden to a neutral country, if only we would provide some evidence of his guilt.
