As an Australian swearing is my second language.. Okay not really xD
I prefer not to swear because I see no point in it and you come off as being rude, online I censor my 'swear'/'bad' words. And by censor I mean swapping out the vow with * which is almost pointless, but I somehow feel better. So like, f*ck, c*nt, *rsehole, jack*rse
In real, I don't like using the bad, of the bad words.. Like the famous 'f' word, F*ck, and part of the female anatomy c*nt, which people find seriously obsessive, at least around here. But I don't really have a problem with saying shit, crap, dick, dickhead, arsehole, dumbarse, prick, and maybe bastard. Though I do avoid it, specially calling anyone else by these names unless I'm trying to offend them, or I'm joking around with friends and family.
Mostly I say 'em when I accidentally kick something, or hit my funny bone, or I'll call someone a 'dick' when describing them if they meet that criteria, got that from Supernatural, blame tv!
For me, it's a habit that I picked up from classmates and Youtubers as a kid- very hard to get rid of in the moment. I suppose I like to be expressive sometimes and sprinkling some swearing (adjectives) into the sentence just gives it an extra umph. Derogatory cussing is a no-no for me though.
