A bit late to this, but the title is more than this fan of the original novels can stomach without comment.
The addition of the word "mere" (not from the original text of course) sells Eowyn's bravery short and controverts the meaning of her acts.
Eowyn expected to die. She had no notion that she'd discovered a loophole in the prophecy. Merry (absent from the image), who stabbed the Lord of the Nazgul in the back of the knee and thus created an opening for Eowyn's killing blow, similarly had no such thought. Both of them DID nearly die of the encounter after the fact.
The point is much the same as that of Frodo and Sam crawling up the side of Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring: those from whom not much is expected by the great and powerful, can make a critical difference. Sauron, Saruman, and The Lord of the Nazgul would all have looked right past both Eowyn and Merry without a second thought.
Nice image though. The armor is over the top, but I guess that fits with the misguided title.
