If you're alone I will let you sad on this cough as long as you want. I don't even care if you're depressed to death.
But now you are a dad!!! You are not alone anymore. Your son needs you!
We both are a father, and as a father to father, I can not accept this behavior. I won't let you act like it's the end of the world anymore, ya hear me!
This is not the Goofy I know. Max lost his mother already, don't make him lost his father too.

Today.. you and I will pick Max and PJ from school together.
I will drop my son at home first.. then I'll drop you and Max home, and I'm not going anywhere till you act like a good Father like you used to be.
If you don't I will make you do it myself!

Well.. although Pete may be a selfish guy, a big bad bully, and an annoying neighbor.
But to me, No matter how much jerk he is, he's still been there for Goofy all along.
So I see him as the one who cares to kick Goofy out of his depression zone to let go of his sadness, facing reality, and his responsibility as a single father.
Although what Pete did is a rough way... but it's the only way to get Goofy on his feet again.
