It's crazy how ahead of it's time Akira was, the film came out in the late 80's but to this day it still makes my jaw drop. The beautiful animation, all the classic Sci Fi themes, politics, character elements, moving together flawlessly like clockwork... a real master piece, and here is my quick tribute!
