Now if anybody has seen the masterpiece ' Spirited Away ' You've seen this ugly, stinky, gooey spirit.
My take on one of my fav characters from that amazing cartoon by Miyazaki.
Hopefully there will be a live action movie ( not that there has to be, it's already a classic in it's own.) But I would love to be on that project!

He's actually the spirit of a (very) polluted river.
OH YEAH. I love how everyone in the bathhouse just REACTS to a sense that the audience can't perceive, but we can certainly imagine. 
(Mm, the point is moot, but it's been said the key to Miyazaki's charm is that it IS animated, whereas live-action would be too visually distracting and take away from the heart of the story.) :\
