Runic Circle PS Brush Practise

This is my practise for making magic circles and runes and such. Also, this is the first Photoshop brush I ever made.

A friend of mine asked me to make a set of brushes for the Charter Marks of the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix, if any of you have read it. So I decided to practise with this first.

Since I made it as a brush set, I will most likely constantly update this.

But anyway, since this is my first ever attempt at this sort of things, any and all critiques or advices are welcome. This isn't a master piece by any means, but hopefully, it will be a starting point, and maybe I will enjoy making it?

Tips: Filters and Layer Styles are extremely useful when using these types of brushes. Outer glow will give a nice ethereal feeling to it. Inner Glow can get rid of details you don't want. If you want to change to overall colour, use Colour Overlay.

Anyway, be creative, that's what is most fun about photoshop after all!
