It's 100% real, the trippy sunset effect is caused by the light pollution from a large city bouncing off the low clouds just on the other side of the mountains, I honestly didn't think it would turn out so well

Camera choice is simply down to personal preference really, I actually own several Canons a Nikon and there is an old Fuji Pro kicking about here somewhere lol. All have their uses all have been great cameras but I keep coming back to the Canon 5DIII these days because it suits the way I want to shoot and helps me tell the story I want to tell with my images

I rented and borrowed friends gear to test before I made my final decision on my current camera and it just felt right to me which is why I finally bought my own. I recommend reading as many independent reviews on different gear as possible, I found that process most helpful in my final choice but really it comes down to how you use your gear or intend to use your gear, your own personal preferences and the size of your wallet LOL.
