The Bubblegum Forest

"The Bubblegum Forest" Quite some time ago, (when I actually had time) I went for a wander along the forest trail down the road from my house and had some fun with my infrared converted camera in the moody low light of the shady forest trail. I love how interesting the colour mix is between the dark shady pockets and the brightly lit pink foliage above, the red clay pathway is just another bonus adding to the kaleidoscope of wonderful colour. Basic editing on this one, straight up channel swap and contrast adjustment then I added a slight vignette to draw focus down the pathway into the mysterious pink and purple forest beyond.

This is what the same trail looks like on a regular camera, neither of these images are saturated... yes it really is that green here.
