Traditional drawing of a very interesting and beautiful boulder / matrix opal from Koroit (Queensland, Australia).
Not as beautiful as the original (opalescence!), but the colourful pattern was so much fun to draw! Rainbow La -plz account-

Reference was the gem and also a photograph of it.

Paper DIN A4 190g/m²; Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, Copic Ciao and Sketch marker, Copic Multiliner black 0.3, 0.05 & SP 0.03, uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white; time: ~12 hours

Ist it just me or has there not been much Quelchii art lately?
Hope you're doing okay! I hope nothing has come up that has made it difficult for you to do art often. <3

Cool! Never seen a stone like that, with so many different patterns and colors. It looks like abstract art, nature style. Haha!

Thank you! That's why I chose this stone. It's like drawing an abstract artwork from nature. :D

Vielen Dank! :)
Hehe, naja das Motiv hat schon was abstraktes. War auf jeden Fall mal was Neues. :D

Gern geschehen :)
