Description
This is my first mixed media test! I'm still sorry for the Loki spam, but it's just so much fun to draw him (and somehow easy, because I've drawn him so much)!
It was very interesting to combine all these different tools and the effect is very nice! Maybe I'll upload a "step by step tutorial".
By the way: I used "normal" paper for this drawing, because I couldn't use Copic paper for the watercolour pencils or watercolour paper for markers.
Reference was a picture of Tom Hiddleston as Loki behind the scenes of "The Avengers" (2012). But I've changed the lower part of the background a little bit, changed his viewing direction and removed the cuts on his face.
Paper DIN A4 190 g/m² (size of the drawing: 17,2cm x 18cm),
- Faber-Castell pencils HB + Faber-Castell Perfection 7057,
- Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils,
- Faber-Castell watercolour pencils Albrecht Dürer,
- Copic Ciao (C-1, C-3, C-5, C-7, 100, E50, G07),
- Copic Multiliner SP 0.03,
- Edding 1800 profipen (0.1, 0.3, 0.5),
- Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Soft 101,
- uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white
time: 20h+?
Please don't upload my pictures somewhere else without my permission. Don't infringe copyright!
Update: I tried to correct the messed up colours (my scanner hates me...) a little bit.
Here some colored pencil drawings of Loki and a tutorial:
