onna opened one of her emerald green eyes, sunshine drifting into the room. Ratchet was clearly still asleep, snoring away in his bed. The young lombax’s gaze searched around the room for Crystal, but the Albino didn't seem to be here.Where's Crystal?
Donna thought, twitching her huge, striped ears, hoping to find her friend. Did she leave already?
A faint yawn sounded from outside, and Donna’s eyes finally caught sight of the albino, staring at her moonstone necklace with confusion and surprise. Crystal's bright blue gaze drifted over to Donna, giving an excited wave, signaling her over. The bright orange lombax then rushed downstairs, her clothes from yesterday still on, and began to step over the remainder of the sleeping bodies. I guess most of them left already.
She thought, stepping over the sleeping body of her own captain.
Donna gave a relieved sigh as she finally made it out of the garage and the huge odor of alcohol. Her eyes then scanned around the sandy desert-like planet, finally spotting Crystal sitting down, a huge, unusual smile on her face. The orange lombax plopped down beside the albino.
“What's got you smiling?” Donna asked, taking a glance at the moonstone Crystal had in her hands. It shone a bright blue glow, unusual for that kind of stone.
“This thing can tell me stuff in a way.” Her friend explained, shifting over to face Donna. “But I had some weird… dream early this morning? Someone told me that someone related to me is closer than I thought, so for a bit I was talking to myself about it, you know, like the weird person I am,” Donna hid a chuckle. “And it actually spoke back to me!”
“Really?” Donna examined the stone with curiosity. This definitely was very unusual for a moonstone.
“Yep, it kinda acts like one of those home electronic things that tells you the weather.”
Donna gave the stone a little tap, and it shone brighter. This isn't normal.
She thought, her eyebrows shifting with thought.
Crystal tilted her face towards the moonstone a bit. “Who’s the closest family member to me?” She asked. Donna gave her eyes a tiny roll, thinking her friend had gone crazy, but her confusion had turned to pure joy and shock when the stone flashed again, almost making an arrow towards her.
“Crystal Azimuth, your cousin, Donna-
” The girls shouted in unison.
