A lot of people have asked me about body painting, so I thought I’d go ahead and post what I know and can tell people, and also for easy access in the future. I’d like to start off by saying I consider myself an amateur, and that I have no formal training, but I like to pretend that I know what I’m doing. This is going to be a basic (but lengthy) overview of airbrushing, what it is, and how to do it. Hello! I'm Ashley Riot, an illustrator, model, writer, and gamer currently living in the windiest of cities. My passion and career are video games and comic art, but I also love to model & cosplay as a hobby.

I began cosplaying in 2002 for fun. After a few years, I got more into the hobby of costuming and started to learn the techniques for making better outfits. I made it my goal to portray characters to the best of my ability. Over time, this also turned into a passion for modeling in all forms where I put together outfits for a range of genres and styles.

When I'm not drawing or making new cosplay outfits, you can find me playing video games! There are so many series I love. I'm a former writer for GamePro and GameGirl. I now work making comics & games.
