Winners - 777 contest

But first: thank you all guys for the wonderful birthday wishes! I didn't have the time yet to thank you personally, but I've read them Especially TheStarlightPrincess and 01yao for your wonderful drawings! I had a great day, though I didn't do much to celebrate it. Just having some fun at my archery club, followed by barbequeing in my parents' garden.


... But enough about that, it's not why you are here It is time... Here are the 7 winners of the 777 contest, in no particular order. Can I have a drumroll, please?    



I picked this one because it made me realise I'm an utter idiot. Orion can't stand his own eye colour, so of course he prefers Morgan's (especially considering his eyes used to be green as well). I have a few eye-themed scenes in my story, but for some reason, none of them shows Orion's longing to change his. Which is, of course, stupid, so I'm going to write this scene into the story Besides, look at how sweet these two are!

This one caught me by surprise as well, because Khorrek is doing something highly unusual, but in such a way it fits him perfectly. He tries to paint. I laughed so hard here. But despite being an artist as well, I never imagined any of my own characters giving this a try. I'm glad someone else thought of that! Also, Pimpernel weaved it beautifully into her own fantasy world!

aSoE goes poetic! I find this so pretty, I never thought that snippet could be used for something like this, and I learnt a new word or two. It also makes my own writing look terribly simplistic :') 



I've seen various incarnations of this scene, but man, this comic nails it! I love how the images describe each line of the snippet. Beautifully done and well executed, and the melker looks even better than I imagined!

Oh gawd... Does this need further explanation? Kudos for the incredibly funny idea, but I believe I said somewhere that the characters should act according to their nature somewhat - and let's be honest, do you really think Rain would drink beer?
