... But enough about that, it's not why you are here
I picked this one because it made me realise I'm an utter idiot. Orion can't stand his own eye colour, so of course he prefers Morgan's (especially considering his eyes used to be green as well). I have a few eye-themed scenes in my story, but for some reason, none of them shows Orion's longing to change his. Which is, of course, stupid, so I'm going to write this scene into the story
This one caught me by surprise as well, because Khorrek is doing something highly unusual, but in such a way it fits him perfectly. He tries to paint. I laughed so hard here. But despite being an artist as well, I never imagined any of my own characters giving this a try. I'm glad someone else thought of that! Also, Pimpernel weaved it beautifully into her own fantasy world!
aSoE goes poetic! I find this so pretty, I never thought that snippet could be used for something like this, and I learnt a new word or two. It also makes my own writing look terribly simplistic :')
I've seen various incarnations of this scene, but man, this comic nails it! I love how the images describe each line of the snippet. Beautifully done and well executed, and the melker looks even better than I imagined!
Look, artwork and a story! Bonus kudos for that! I always wanted to know how to hold fireballs, now I know. Looks like Khorrek found a way to get over his fear of flames. I didn't expect that to happen, and yet it was typical Khorrek behaviour. Makes me wonder if you people know this guy better than I do...

Actually, you should read this one first, since this is a follow-up chapter: Morgan's Melker. But I picked this one because I loved the interaction between Talyx and Ferret, and my own characters, which shows better here. It was so natural, as if all of them belonged to the same story. All characters behaved in character; quite something since so many of mine make an appearance. And extra kudos for using more than one story snippet

I picked this one because it gives me so many things to think about. Did Morgan just catch him stealing crayons or is she helping him? Why does he need crayons? And most importantly: should someone stop him? Probably... I normally know very well what Khorrek is up to, but it's great to be left in the dark for once. I guess everyone who has to deal with Khorrek feels like that :')

7 artworks of yours to end up in a feature journal.
7 critiques - or just comments in case you don't want feedback or I fail at giving a critique.
Llama and a watch from Eleynah.
A one-minute, animated movie like this to fit a song of your choice from WonderlandTrades.
777 points - or...1. a free digital commission, portrait, simple background (which is worth a lot more than 777 points).
2. two pencil drawings, portraits, no/simple background (also worth more than the points, I guess).
3. one pencil sketch (also a portrait) and 389 points.
I'm afraid I don't have the time to make art for everyone, otherwise I would have done that gladly. So please, dear winners, let me know in the comments if you want to trade points for artwork! And whether you prefer digital or traditional art. If I have more than three people who want to do this trade, I'll make a raffle out of it.
Also, winners, you have earned seven critiques. Please let me know if there are specific deviations you want feedback on, or if you don't want any feedback at all. Beware, I can only give feedback on things I know something about
The special prize:
Because not all donated prizes could get divided by the number of winners, I have a special prize for someone who caught my attention, but couldn't become a winner because of reasons... Here we go:
Oh gawd... Does this need further explanation? Kudos for the incredibly funny idea, but I believe I said somewhere that the characters should act according to their nature somewhat - and let's be honest, do you really think Rain would drink beer?
Congrats, Eleynah, you have won a halfbody from Kniightshade!
Your entry isn't here? Please don't get angry, either at me or your own work, because this was really, really close. This was by far the hardest choice I had to make for a contest, I love each entry dearly. Really... I had to look at little details to pick these. Besides, you get home with something, because ArielaNewt has donated headshots for all participants! How awesome is that?
Also, I want to thank the awesome people who have donated prizes! That was very kind of you, I hope I can return the favour one day!
Best wishes,
Pam/Queen of Eagles
