Here's the flipside emphasizing the color. I looked at a lot of reference photos of Wong Kar Wai's film In the Mood for Love and I genuinely can't decide which look I like more. Also I shot these with a Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1 filter like I have several recent shoots. Genuinely one of my favorite purchases. It was quite fun to style this shoot with pieces from my vintage closet again. The initial concept was glamorous 40s, I had just watched Bette Davis in Now, Voyager and was feeling very inspired. The dress is from my maternal grandmother, I rescued it from her closet after she passed away. Its certainly a 1980s dress with a 40s style, that I felt suited our heroine quite well.
