This was an experiment to see if I could create a painterly effect without any real painting involved! :D

This looks like a combination of gems, pains, and crochet - on the corners.  Beautiful!

I was testing the concept of using old non-copyrighted ornamentation designs with my own painted images. I had in mind those Victorian gingerbread houses, with all their filigree ironwork and intricate woodwork.
Thanx for the wonderful comment, Bailey! :bow::D

My pleasure; it really turned out beautifully.  And yes, I can see the influence; love iron filigree!

I have to admit, the name of this reminded me of a 'poem' I heard once;

Spring has sprung,
Fall has fell.
Summer is here,
and it's hot...as usual. ;)

I remember those!  (I grew up in various parts of the USA - Dad was USAF.  I was 'imported' to Australia in 2010, when my DH finally convinced me (after 10 years) to move here and marry him.  No regrets!)

It is good to have another friend in Australia! :hug::love::D
The temperatures seem to be slowly sliding into Autumn temperatures, here in Florida. They predict at or below 90*F for a week or so. Usually, the temperatures take a big slide about the middle of October. Waiting patiently for cooler weather. ;)
Do you like the different environment, flora and fauna in Australia? :?

I wanted to get a painterly effect, and make it even more organic after putting on some "brass corners"! :lol::D
I appreciate your continued support. :bow:

Not only did you achieve a painterly effect, you also got some 3D by your use of color and the use of brass leafing was inspired!
