Based on the holotype and a referred specimen, Buitreraptor exhibits a peculiar elongated skull that reminds me of a stork in many ways. The grey areas are portions of the eroded and obscured region of the sacrum and proximal femur.

You're back! Hooray!

Excellent Buitreraptor, by the way. I'm not sure I see a heron, maybe more of a stork or a hornbill. But that's just me.

Hah! Just submitted my Buitreraptor illustration and my inspiration for it was a stork-like bird as well :D Great to see some new stuff from you!

So it could have been a heron-analogue?

Well, I don't mean it stood still and pecked at stuff on the ground. It appears to have a snout adapted to some probing habit, and it was probably a feeder of many small things.
