So here we have what is one of America's most popular public art objects. In a city that is famous for it's public sculpture and parks.
Chicago. Now the only problem with this wonderful sculpture is that people can not stop putting the greasy hands all over it! So you will see streaks and other marks, as this chrome surface needs to be cleaned all the time. In order to really be at art level.
I shot this image as so many people do not understand how large and great this sculpture is and how people love it. So I took a photo, just for fun to share it and also this sets up a couple of images in BW that I did also. Shot with the 18-105 kit lens for the D7000

Cool! Didn't know Chicago had a giant chrome jelly bean.
I read the article on this in the Welding Journal (publication from The American Welding Society). This piece is EXTREMELY interesting.
