Western Infantry by Pyrosity Western Infantry by Pyrosity
I actually made something sketchy for once and then spent way too long dicking around with silly crap when I should have just posted it as is. So here it is, with most of the silly crap turned off (excepting the simple color).

Wanted to just do some simple drawings of several New World GIs. Came out pretty nice.

They um... don't take too kindly to them I'm afraid. :3

It's a theme of Epiverse I'm gradually working in, hasn't been shown much but it's rather crucial to the 'verse. When aphomgens (the name by which anthropomorphics are called in Epiverse) came to public light, the New World took a staunchly oppositional stance. They believed that the aphomgen - a genetically engineered creation - was an affront to humankind. Thus, they do not treat them as equal to humans, and officially in NW jurisdictions, they have little to no rights or freedoms. At some points, NW was actively engaging in genocide against them, similar to oppression other countless minorities have faced in our colorful history on this earth.

So, New World does not employ, enlist, or otherwise allow aphomgens into government or military positions. There are technically exceptions, the most notable of which was the black project that Alexa was a victim of. Its purpose was to kidnap and train aphomgens as child soldiers and assassins. The project met very limited success and arguably produced more "violent rejections" such as Alexa than actual usable living weapons.

Glad you like it :3 It's kind of hard to flesh out these little details when most of what I post is just drawings with relatively short descriptions on them, and since I'm almost constantly retconning one thing or another in the fictional canon of Epiverse, it can be very misleading XD
