OLD ART - Python for HL1 by Pyrosity OLD ART - Python for HL1 by Pyrosity
The ol' 357 Colt python model I made back years ago for HL1, with original "blue" chrome textures as well as black/greyscale chrome versions. The grip texture was made by ~CorporalDogmeat, bullet texture by sylon, and animations from toadie2k. Was also UV mapped by End of Days.

I'm pretty sure a few other people of the HIT community also gave skinning the whole thing properly a shot, with a lot of really nice results, but I don't remember who all did and can't find any images of those. I haven't been in the custom models thing for AGES, so I don't know what became of it all if anything. My apologies!

Originally made in Milkshape 3d as a test of how detailed I could make a model in that program while remaining within HL1 engine reasonable poly limits. Final triangle count landed roughly around 4200.

Uploaded because I realized that the only place left to find it was FPSBanana. DA's pretty good about keeping stuff available, but to be safe I'm backing them up multiple places online and off.

Maybe when nobody's around.

Also, I'm surprised nobody 1up'd my grip skin. It only took me like 5-8 minutes to make.

I think about the time you gave it to me I was compiling this, and it's one of the last things I ever compiled, was getting out of it at that point. Like I said, I know others made some skins for it, but I never did see them.

The Mp5 wasn't that bad, though I do admit the 357 took many days of my free time.
Thanks!
