Lt. Jomiro by Pyrosity Lt. Jomiro by Pyrosity
2nd Lt. Cameron Jomiro of the Coalition Dragoons. I would say WIP, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to working on this again, already spent most all of today on it.

Edit: bah, stupid me, uploaded the wrong version, fixed the arms being wrong lenths XD

Epicly done comrade i like how the MP5 looks like a MP5 and how the fur is noticeable and not just blah.

oh great looking drawing Cameron! I love how finished the picture looks by just shading the rifles and his fur, it may be a cheap way to finish it but it looks quite stylish^^ the determined look on his face looks cool(though I personally think he would looked perhaps more cool with the mask here, since that enhances such kind of expression and poses (but that's just my opinion) ;)
but yea the lineart is detailed as ever^^ I really should try making my own lineart much smaller, since they tend to end up highly thick :hmm:

It certainly does a good job of making those elements very clear, separates them without cutting them out completely.
I kinda like to keep his bandana down loose around his neck, iono, lets me give more expression to his face. But yeah, it's not like he wouldn't ever put it on as a mask, I just don't draw him doing that very often XD

What I post to DA is usually around half the dimentions of the original photoshop source file, I keep them that large so I preserve detail if I need to and can resize to practically every web resolution I need. So that's why the lines might look a mite smaller. Also helps immensely to have a good set of brushes for photoshop, lately I've been using these: [link] because they're phenomenally effective while remaining simple and forcing you to do your own detail. Highly recommend replacing your brushes with that set if you're using photoshop :3

hmmm that is true, I also draw my rebel characters without the bandanna mask when I want to portray a perticular emotion or scene, but when I can't think of any expression than neutral or determined looks I usually go for the mask sicne that usually gives off a better enhanced impression of that feeling. Especially for single character drawings. but hehe yea that's just my opinion =P I just felt that this was yet another expression we've seen you do many times before ;P (wich I'm also guilty off doing as well ofcourse )

but yea thanks! I'll defently check those brushes out^^ (I havn't tried anyone elses brushes sicne I've been afraid thwy would overwrite my own costums)
